The staff of San Angelo State Park would like to thank the
Llano Estacado Native American Society for their efforts in
helping to assure the continued existence of the Black-tailed
Prairie Dog.  We appreciate the opportunity to be part of this
venture in helping to preserve the native species of the Western
Plains.  We would also like to thank Lynda Watson for her hard
work and diligence in capturing, caring and preparation for
transport of the Prairie Dogs.
